Lucky # 26

I got the call from nurse coordinator at 10:30am with an update on our embies!

38 eggs retrieved,
35 mature
&

FERTILIZED!!!!

We are so thankful and know how lucky we are. At this point everyone is a little concerned about OHSS, so I am getting lots of blood work done on Tuesday morning. I am going to be drinking lots of Gatorade and eating food high in sodium. My tummy is looking like I am already pregnant and I am uncomfortable but I can deal with that.

I am going to celebrate the positives now and not dwell on the negatives that might happen.

Wow -- that's great news! I'm confused though--they actually recommended HIGH sodium foods?? I thoght it was low-sodium that they recommended, and foods high in protein/low in carbs.

I hope I am as fortunate as you have been - 26 is such a great number to come away with!

I have my ER Tuesday (tomorrow), and have 59 follicles, of which 37 are mature and hopefully will release eggs... I, too, am pretty concerned about OHSS, and have been pounding water like a madman.

Keep us posted on your progress! I look forward to hearing from you, and wish you all the best.
