Today started off with acupuncture @ 9:30am. As soon as we pulled up in the parking lot the RE's office called and told us to come in at 11:15am for the ET. After acupuncture I started chugging water as we walked around the park. I was surprisingly not nervous....I knew the transfer would be a piece of cake compared to the retrieval.
Shortly after arriving at the office we were taken back to get ready for the transfer. Since I wore a dress I didn't have to wear one of those ugly gowns..yay!! Dr. A told us we had 2 great blastocysts that we were transferring today. He didn't get specific on what grade they were but said they were at least 1 or 2. He also said that they froze 2 of the other eggs today and they would let us know tomorrow how many more we have to freeze. I am a little concerned about this (considering we had 26 eggs yesterday) but will wait for the report tomorrow.
The transfer itself was painless...it was easier than a pap smear. It only took 5 minutes! It was very emotional. We could actually see the two blastocysts come out of the catheter into my uterus. There were these two white dots floating around...it was amazing. I starting tearing up thinking that I had two fertilized eggs inside of me. It was very surreal.

Egg Transfer
I laid on my back for the required 30 minutes and then finally got to go to the bathroom. The nurse gave me instructions for the next week and then wheeled me out to the car. DH had pillows in the back of the car so I could lay down. We went back to the acupuncturist (yes, twice in one day) and then got home around 2pm where I have been laying on the couch ever since.
I am PUPO!! This is the most pregnant I have ever been and I am thrilled about it.
Beta #1 next Wednesday (only 6 days away), beta #2 next Friday.
