Beta #1 TOMORROW!!!!

Today I am 5dp5dt. I feel hopeful that this worked for the most part, but doubt creeps in more than I would like. Since I have never been pregnant I don't know how I "should" feel. I have sore nipples,cramping and twinges but that could be from ALL the progesterone I am on. I do the PIO shot every three nights and Endometrin suppositories twice a day!! I am trying not to over analyze the possible pregnancy symptoms because I will go insane.

Thankfully I only had to wait 6 days in between ET and my 1st beta....but it still seems like an eternity!! This weekend wasn't bad because we were busy, but Monday was rough for both of us. It's all we can thing about. Surprisingly DH is more anxious than I am...its kind of cute!! He begged me to take a HPT test when he got home from work yesterday (5:30pm). I warned him it was probably too early (4dp5dt) but I know its not unheard of to get a positive, so I took it. It was negative...no big surprise. We decided I would take another one tonight and then tomorrow before my beta. There is a possibility that even if I am pregnant it won't show up on a HPT test for a few days since my clinic does the beta relatively early (6dp5dt), they usually expect pretty low numbers for the 1st beta.

Normally my clinic doesn't give the result of the 1st beta. They wait till the 2nd beta to share the news because this gives them a more accurate answer....they want to make sure the levels double. I am not patient enough to wait till Friday so I e-mailed the nurse and asked if they could get the test STAT so I could get the beta result the same day.

My test is at 8:30am tomorrow and I will get the result via e-mail by 1pm!!! I know it won't be a definitive answer but it will prepare me for beta # 2 on Friday.

I'm nervous!!!!
