I was given the Honest Scrap award by Shannon at Keeping Faith. This is my first blogger award and I am so excited. Thank you Shannon for the award and your continued support!
Here are the Honest Scrap stipulations:
1. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find interesting and engaging
2. Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog and leave a comment informing them that they have won the "Honest Scrap Award"
3. List at least 10 honest things about yourself
10 Honest Things About Me:
1. I am a control freak and have a tendency to be a "little" anal.
2. I love my life and feel very blessed, but TTC and losing my mom 5 years ago has left an aching hole in my heart.
3. My passion is photography and children. I used to have a job where I would go into peoples homes and photograph there children in their own environment.
4. I have very strange and vivid dreams. They tend to be about issues in my life that I don't want to face while I'm awake.
5. I have a major SWEET tooth. My favorite indulgence is a cookies n' cream shake from Steak n' Shake.
6. I am addicted to home improvement projects. This is probably DH's biggest complaint about me.
7. I never thought I would get along with my sister when we were growing up, but now she is one of my favorite people to spend time with.
8. I am very driven, once I make up my mind about something I work until I get it, which makes TTC so difficult!!
9. I love to sing and dance. I frequently put on shows for my husband in the living room!
10. I am a very private person so blogging is a huge step outside the box for me, but I am glad I took the plunge b/c it is very therapeutic.
I am very grateful to be a part of this blogging group. The support I get from all of you is so important in this journey! I wish none of us had to go through this heartache, but I am glad we have each other to lean on.
And here are the 7 blogs that inspire, encourage, motivate, or entertain me:
1. Amy at Waiting for our miracle. She was the first person who reached out to me, and ultimately the one who made me want to blog b/c I wanted to meet other women as supportive as her. We both started TTC at the exact same time so we can relate really well to each other.
2. Jen at No One Ever Told Me It Would Be This Hard. We have also been TTC the same amount of time. She always has comforting words or advice for me.
3. Lindsay at LTF525. I love her blog b/c she shares her struggles of TTC and also her everyday life. I also admire her for putting her needs to the side(TTC) so that she could attend her sister's destination wedding. That is selflessness!!
4.Jess at Waiting on baby Paramore. We are "new" blogger friends, but I love her honesty. She doesn't sugar-coat her feelings.
5.Stacey at Iamstacey. She is so honest it is hysterical!! I am brutally honest too, so I can really appreciate her blog
6.Hope at Hoping in Houston. I have been following her blog from the beginning and was so thrilled for her when she got her BFP.
7.Kristin at Ramblings from one spiritual soul. We have a lot in common as far as our journey and feelings towards TTC.
Really everyone who puts there story out here deserves this award!!!
