No...not mine, a friend's. She knows what we have been going through and was waiting to tell me to see if the IVF worked. Well she told me on the phone today that she is 4 months pregnant. I am going to see her next week so she wanted to tell me before I noticed on my own. This is her 4th...unplanned pregnancy!!!! She has welcomed each pregnancy and is a great mother, but all of her kids were a surprise. She has been begging her husband to get a vasectomy for years, and obviously he hasen't.
I am just stunned that one family can have 4 unplanned pregnancies while I have been trying/planning for two years for just ONE child. I am sad & pissed!!!

That sucks, Jessica. :( One of my BFF's from high school is the same way. We're both 28, but while I'm struggling to conceive, she has a 12, 10, 5, and 3 year old - ALL unplanned. She is a fantastic mother, but sometimes it just HURTS to talk to her.
Hang in there - at least your friend was considerate to your pain and thoughtful about breaking it to you. Not everyone is. Keep on sharing love and good will towards others and it will be returned to you tenfold. Basically, what goes around, comes around. :)
That really sucks. :( A girl I went to high school with had 4 opps babies by the time we were both 22!! Yah. I wish I was kidding. Oh and two different dads. She had her tubes tied after this 4th one was born. It's hard when it is so easy for some people!
Crap. I know it's never easy to get announcement. But hearing that it was a "surpise" is like salt in the wound.

Oh my. I don't know how you do it. You're a very good friend and I hope she realizes that.

I'm sorry Jessica. I think of that stuff all the time when I see people from high school on Facebook just popping out babies left and right. Drives me insane. At least she was considerate in telling you and you did not just see her and it was a "surprise! I'm pregnant again announcement." Have a good weekend.
I'm sorry Jessica, that just sucks royally. I will never understand why it is so easy for those who aren't prepared and so hard for those who would do anything.
This kind of thing just makes me even more confused. It's so easy to start believing that SEX DOES NOT GET PEOPLE PREGNANT. And then I hear that it does. And then I get sad, because it seems that for me, it doesn't. So sorry you're sad, too.
